This started out as a website background for version four of my portfolio and has now morphed itself into a desktop download.
I have always been a fan of high touch visuals and thought it would be a fun art experiment. Everything in the design was collected over a period of months and spray painted white.

Canine Crews
The Project
Create a WordPress website for Canine Crews; a Chicago doggy boarding & daycare facility. The website needs to have a fun feel that draws people in, while being clean and professional and provide the owner with the ability to update the content.
My Role
Lead designer and developer. Provided wire frames, flow charts, style guide and training documents. I built a custom WordPress theme giving the simplest way to update. 960 framework was used for the clean grid look.

Jess Hirsch
The Project
Create a clean and simple site to showcase the talent of Portland-based artist Jess Hirsch. The majority of the site would be a photo gallery or her work. Required to be built with Wordpress, contain a blog and be updatable.
My Role
Lead developer and designer. Gallery required the theme be very customized. Provided wire frames, flow charts, style guide and training documents.

Grandpa-George
Xmas 2009
The Project
Create the 2009 Christmas card cover for Grandpa-George Design and Interactive. Design a letterpress Christmas tree insert that can be cut out and constructed into a desk ornament. Design and construct a paper craft scene of critters in a winter wonderland. Provide download instruction sets for users to recreate this at home. Build a web page for the 2009 Christmas card downloads and videos.
My Role
Lead designer and project manager. Worked closely with other interns to accomplish the build of Grandpa-George's 2009 Christmas Card and supporting materials.

Massimo Lorenzini
The Project
Website for the fictional client Massimo Lorenzini; a woodwind specialist and private lesson teacher. Client required it be designed for ease of use and present necessary information; all text, images and required fields must be used; built with HTML / CSS / PHP; usable down to IE6, degrade gracefully; be fully accessible with usability as the top priority.
My Role
Lead designer / developer / project manager. Responsible for time / cost estimates, flow charts, wire frames, functionality documents, paper prototypes, design mock-ups and style guide.

Gutter Helmet
The Project
Re-design of Gutter Helmet of Minnesota with a quick turn-around. All existing content had to be transferred to the new site, add new sections and content, and provide the client with the ability to self-maintain the content. The over-all design and user experience needed to be simplified.
My Role
Lead design and front–end developer. Inventory site, organizing content into sections. Responsible for flowcharts, wireframes, mock-ups, style guide and porting content into the customized Wordpress theme.
